Retired from Livingston County as the Director of the Office of Emergency Management, served for 25 years.

Third generation owner/operator of the family farm.

Married to Elizabeth and have 3 children, Michael, Kelly and Adam. All graduates of Geneseo Central School.

My husband Joe and I grew up in Mt. Morris where my parents owned Folts Jewelry Store. We have lived in Geneseo for 10 years. My daughter, Kristin Young, owns Body & Face by Kristin Day Spa here in Geneseo, and her son, Sawyer, is in the 5th Grade at Geneseo Central. Karyn Deagle, who owns the Genesee Vattey Florist on Main Street is my niece, and my son, Stephen, and his family live in Dubai.

My 30-year career has been in Education as a School Nurse, Counselor, Assistant Principal and lastly a Middle/High School PrincipaI for 15 years after which I retired from Oakfield-Atabama School (near Batavia). As a Board Member, I want to share my knowledge and experience as an educator in making informed decisions to aid our students in preparation for life after high school.

At the same time, it is important to be fiscally responsible to our taxpayers. "Putting Students First" is my motto. My priorities include hiring and keeping effective teachers. lt is imperative that we support and appreciate our faculty and staff in their efforts to provide a safe and positive learning environment. Prompt and transparent communication with all members of our school community provides clear understanding for all parties. l will always be open and approachabte to all questions or concerns. lt is essential that our Board Members and Superintendent work together to focus on the school's mission which includes yearly goals and accountability while we strive for continuous improvement.
